Hi there! My name is Brittanie Tovar.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been an athlete. From roller-blading and biking endless loops around my family’s home when I was younger to playing tennis at the collegiate level, and finishing my first marathon in my mid-twenties, being active in some kind of athletic pursuit has always been a part of me. Then, during my academic career, I found that nutrition, and the way that food fuels the body was so fascinating and compelling! I had to learn more and eventually, found my calling as a Registered Dietitian. During my day job, I assist people in making behavior changes to improve their health and nutrition. For me personally, nutrition supports my way of life and allows me to run and lift … and other things too!
